The facial expression - while having all four feet off the ground - you could add any number of different tag lines. Was a super fun day in the snow with the dogs.
Keeping close to home - some home made blackberry wine and a rather silly me with a big hand (thanks Frank for taking that photo). Sure I do love what you can do with Photoshop, but it you can do it outside photoshop, that is good too... selecting clothing, and props, and have a large foam hand for all creative moments.
The first few years of growing vegetables; you photograph everything. Prehaps like the first born. Fast forward a few years, I have large catalogs of vegetable images. Every vegetable in this image, was grown in our garden. Mushrooms, squash, berries, peppers, corn, flowers, garlic, mint, pea sprouts, char, eggplant, sage, and that odd looking potato - he came from the garden too. Nice guy really!

Want to start to add textures to the bird - I have photography from a recent chicken photoshoot that may work.
Refine movement with the place of (real chicken) eye - and building up the style of the birds features. Want something with bigger flowing feaures - a bit over the top (vegas for birds)- I did try and chicken wings, but they don't have the look I want.
Shooting with a Glass sphere - there type that has an air bubble trapped inside.
Clear glass sphere was a great was to capture a photo of our goats. I like how the line of the decking adds to the shape of the goat eye.
Painting with light - simple spot light.
